Are you insured for major venues or arenas?
Yes. I carry a $2,000,000 aggregate liability policy. I can provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance) directly to your event coordinator.
What happens if your equipment fails?
I operate with full redundancy. This means I bring backup speakers, backup mixers, and backup laptops to every single event.
Can we give you a "Do Not Play" list?
Absolutely. In fact, I encourage it. Your "Do Not Play" list is just as important as your "Must Play" list. If you hate line dancing songs or a specific genre, they will not be played, no matter who requests them.
Do you take breaks or play a pre-mixed CD?
No. I mix live continuously from the moment guests arrive until the last song. I do not take smoke breaks or leave the booth unattended. The music is curated live to match the energy of the room at all times.
How far in advance should we book?
As an Owner-Operator, I can only perform at one event per day. Popular dates often book 12-18 months in advance. I recommend reaching out as soon as your date and venue are secured.
Do you act as the MC (Master of Ceremonies)?
Yes. I handle all announcements with a polished, professional tone. My style is "Classy Host," not "Game Show Hype Man." I make sure guests know what is happening without making the event about me.
Will you travel outside of Tampa?
Yes. While I am based in Odessa/Tampa, I frequently perform in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota, and Orlando. Travel fees may apply for events more than 50 miles from Tampa.
What makes a "Musician-DJ" different?
A musician understands song structure, key (harmonics), and phrasing. I don't just "fade" one song into another; I mix them harmonically so they sound like they were written together. This keeps energy high and prevents the "jarring" feeling of bad transitions.
